Colbrow Medics is holding Perform CPR (HLTCPR211A) & 1-day Apply First Aid (HLTFA311A) Certificates on a monthly basis. Those working in Childcare, Security or Fitness industries, that require First Aid Training as part of their occupation are highly encouraged to participate. The Perform CPR and Apply First Aid (formerly Senior I Level 2 First Aid) Certificates are also open to those who wish to acquire first aid skills for their own personal development, interest or leisure activity.

For Registered Nurses, Apply First Aid will attract a minimum of 7 Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) points and perform CPR, 3 points. We are also offering great subsidised rates for Colbrow Healthcare employees.

Our courses are endorsed by APEC No: 070207372 as authorised by Royal College of Nursing Australia (RCNA) according to approved criteria.

This course is for those people wishing to have the skills and knowledge to perform the essential life saving techniques of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

APPLY FIRST AID (HLTFA311A)

The aim of this course is to develop competence and confidence in providing emergency first aid. This includes calling for help, the ability to respond to first aid situations, casualty assessment, decision-making, basic life support functions and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). This course covers adult and child conditions.

FIRST AID MANAGEMENT OF ANAPHYLAXIS (22099VIC)

This course is highly recommended and is a requirement for all Childcare and Primary School Educators. Participants will receive vital knowledge on how to deal with a casualty suffering from an allergic reaction, including the use of an Epipen / Anapen and how to avoid the triggers.
